ZED-Scissors (ZS) – are scissors that have the same blade curvatures as the ZED-Clamps jaw configurations. The reason being is that when they clamp the ZED-Clamps down on the ligament, the ZED-Scissors with the same curvature can be used to cut the ligament. This allows for the same amount of tissue to remain along the cut edge of the ligament, making suturing much easier.

ZED-Scissors are always with a tungsten carbide cutting edge. One blade of the ZED-Scissors is also serrated. This keeps the tissue from floating away as the cut is being made, allowing the user to cut exactly where they intended to cut.
