The Pipelle de Cornier® Mark II is a new device based on the original Pipelle de Cornier®. The endometrial cells (cytology specimen) are collected on the rough surface on 2 cm of its tip, and the endometrial tissue (histology specimen) is collected by the plunger’s aspiration. The Pipelle de Cornier® Mark II is indicated for the following procedures: - Systematic screening for endometrial cancer and hyperplasia, - Detection of luteal phase insufficiency, - Monitoring of hormonal treatment, - Menometrorrhagia with or without HRT, - Late menopause, - Endometrial hypertrophy detected by ultrasonography, - Polyps, - Tamoxifen treatment, - Bacteriological culture.
